I love this post, Ellise, and not just because of the guac.

My grandmother made delicate heart-shaped cupcakes for everyone every valentines day, decorated with a few redhots. I think she got tired of it, or perhaps tired of watching us scarf them down, but she kept making them, another one that registers high on the love meter.

Endorphin rush, love it! This guac looks great, nice addition of the toasted pepitas. Those french toast hearts are such a sweet memory, I hope to provide the same for my children. happy valentine's day!
I need to check out the twitter #letslunch bunch

Oh, Ellise, what a sweet story. Thanks for sharing. And I completely agree with you on this one: "Show me a guy who owns a set of knives, and I’m weak-kneed already."

So true!

Your guacamole looks just divine (as your dishes always do) and I can't wait to try it on the man to see if it works. xo
