Cookbook Tour Schedule

April 23, 2012

It’s here…spring!…the cookbook!…and  very soon, I’ll be on the road, kicking off the Cowgirl Chef Summer of 2012 World Tour. (Do y’all think I need to get t-shirts?)

I’ll be cruising around Texas and New Mexico (so far), promoting the book, signing the book, talking about the book, and of course…cooking from the book. Whew.

It’s a good thing I’ve been doing this all-about-me blog for the last few years, right?

I’m leaving Paris in less than two weeks and I’m thrilled to be headed home…and overwhelmed…and scared…and so damn excited I can hardly stand it. I’m all of those things, and all at once, every single day.

As I’ve mentioned many times before, this book is something that I’m so grateful for and it simply wouldn’t be without all of the support I’ve had since I started this silly old Cowgirl Chef thing. Even though my names’s on the cover, this feels in many ways like one big worldwide collaboration. I’ve had testers, editors, friends, and family on both sides of the pond sending love, comments, and encouragement throughout the process which began about this time last year. So thank you, everyone.

I really hope you’ll like the book, and that you’ll love the recipes as much as I do.I’ll be letting you know where I’ll be in this space, but please check the calendar tab above to see the latest additions to the schedule. I’m plugging in new events and book signings every day.

And just hoping the coffee doesn’t run out…à bientôt!

I’m not sure how to type the crazy dancing, happiness giggles I have seeing that your book is really going to happen!!! And that you’ll be touring to promote it.

I am so happy for you and can’t wait to come out and support you — while wearing my Cowgirl Chef Summer of 2012 World Tour t-shirt, of course!

Hi Ellise!

We met years ago at the late (and sadly lamented) Salon Bonaparte. I’ve ordered your book and can’t wait to start trying out more recipes. (Your Mom’s squash casserole is a staple!) I’m going to be in Paris this summer for four weeks from mid-July to mid-August — will you be back from your world-tour? Love to meet up for lunch or a coffee!

Safe travels,

Jane

I need to get me one of those tshirts. I will wear it so proudly!! A million bisous and felicitations to you, cowgirl friend. Thrilled to pieces for you and can’t wait to get my mitts on your book!!

Jane, I remember you! How are you? Am so glad you’re loving the squash casserole..and will tell Mom. Ritz crackers. Talk about a staple! I will be back in Paris at the tippy end of August, so I’m going to miss you, sadly. But maybe my travels will take me to NY between now and then. I certainly hope so. BTW, Stephane has moved and if you need his info, let me know! Thanks so much for this sweet note.! x

You are going to be great! Make sure to post the dates so I can tell my Santa Fe peeps when you will be there. My mom in the US and I are going to cook your recipes at the same time and compare notes. I can’t wait. xo

Can’t wait…. I am still trying to swing going to the “Lake Austin Spa”. Would I be able to hang out with you a bit before or after? What about coming to Greenville, SC. I can hook you up here. T-Shirts are a must…I need an x-large :-) )) They don’t make that size in Paris.

Oh, one more thing…..how about some “signature” cowboy boots?

Cowgirl Chef April 24, 2012 at 9:38 am

I think for sure on the Cowgirl Chef cowboy…whoops!…Cowgirl boots. Come to Lake Austin Spa! Please?

Yay – you will be in Ft Worth! I hope to get by the Ft Worth Farmer’s Market to meet you in July. Try and make a dash into Dutch’s Burgers when you are over at TCU for your signing in June. They have the best burgers in Ft Worth and I’ve tried many of them! I still remember your post about the burger at Maple and Motor – we went and gave it a try – tasty too! Great to see you scheduled to cook at the Central Market stores – they are great – just wish you were scheduled for the Southlake store – would love to see you cooking there!

Jealous you are gonna be in Austin- we lived there for 2 years. Happy Book Touring!

Elise,
You have this effect on people. Ok, I just booked the spa for 3 nights. The hottest place in the US in August!!! I am crazy. Does any one else want to bunk up?
We can both save some $$$.. You better have some play time available for me. Can you show me around Austin a bit?
